Who's responsible for your data

What we collect and why

  • Your email address — to create your account and sign you in (magic link, no password).
  • Video of your walkthrough — recorded and processed entirely in your browser. The raw video is never uploaded to our servers. Individual frames extracted from it are sent to our AI provider to identify items in them, then discarded — we don't store the frames themselves.
  • Item data — the description, category, brand, and estimated value of each identified item, plus a small photo of it taken from your walkthrough footage, are saved to your account so you can view and export your inventory later.
  • Payment data — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

Who else processes your data

We use a small number of subprocessors to run the service. Each only receives the minimum data needed for its job:

  • Anthropic, PBC (USA) — analyzes extracted video frames to identify items. Governed by Standard Contractual Clauses for the international transfer.
  • Tavily (USA) — looks up real market prices for identified items. Same transfer safeguard.
  • Stripe — processes payments.
  • Supabase — hosts our database, authentication, and item thumbnails.

How long we keep it

Extracted video frames are never persisted — they exist only for the duration of the AI request. Your item data and thumbnails are kept until you delete the item, the inventory, or your account. Deleting your account removes everything immediately and permanently.

Your rights

Under GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or a copy of your data (the PDF export already gives you this), and you can request erasure at any time — either by using the "Delete my account and data" button on your Account page, or by emailing us. You can also object to or ask us to restrict processing, and you can lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in North Rhine-Westphalia: LDI NRW).

We only use a strictly-necessary session cookie to keep you signed in. No analytics or advertising cookies.
